Your purpose begins with what you’re good at. And it can also be what you’re passionate about. You’re blessed if you already know your purpose. But many people don’t know their purpose yet. Why you must know your purpose? It will keep you alive not just physically but holistically. It will make your life worth living.

BEGIN TO FIND OUT

You need to start something. Or you might be in a situation that you’re doing something regardless if you like it or not. Keep doing it. You cannot wait to desire things before you take action.

PASSION COMES LATER

I already mentioned it in the first point but I need to emphasize it. Passion depends on two things: internal and external factor. Internal means that you feel like you’re improving everyday on whatever you do. External means people appreciate you by recognizing that you are good on what your heart has set to do. And when you excel you feel like you’re destined to do it. It will be your mission.

If you fail, you feel that it’s not meant for you. You think that God has a better plan for you.

FAILURE WILL NEVER KILL YOU.

Don’t expect to succeed the first time you try it. You’re still learning to do it so mistakes are inevitable. Failure might cost you some resources and effort. Every one of us has failed in some point but we managed to survive. Except in rare cases when it’s a matter of life and death.

ASK YOUR CREATOR

It’s a cliché but who is the best source of information? If there’s an invention, who will you ask about its purpose? The inventor, right? What if the inventor is not present? Look for the manual. If God created us, He ought to know why He made us. The Bible is the manual.

Actually, God’s plan is the third factor in knowing your passion. If you don’t initially excel on something and you dislike it because of that, God will give you willingness if you trust Him. And eventually success.
